Massage therapy is defined as the manipulation of the body through manual techniques within the Scope of Practice including active & passive stretching, hot/cold applications, and herbal preparations. I am aware that certain adverse side effects may result, including, but not limited to: bruising and aggravation of symptoms. Sophia Harp, LMT cannot and will not diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, or perform spinal manipulations. Massage Therapy is a lawful and ethical practice in the states of Colorado and Ohio. Sophia Harp, LMT is a licensed Massage Therapist and has full legal ability to end any treatment at any time, properly and legally protect themselves and any staff, and charge for any treatment she or any staff feel necessary. 

 

All clients must confirm their appointment within 3 hours time of their request, which includes adding a payment method to their profile which simply, and only, holds the appointment. This payment method can be changed after the service is rendered. This policy ensures fair and equal access to all available appointment dates and times to all potential clientele, and protects the therapist from no-show cancelations (see policies below).

All new clients are also asked to complete their new client paperwork before their arrival as well.

 

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give a 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. Please call or see booking platform for all cancellation requests. 

All 3rd party bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable (this includes but is not limited to ClassPass concierge and Mindbody bookings).

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged in full for their “missed” appointment. 

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, it will then be determined if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session price. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

 

All payments are required at the conclusion of all treatments. All balances must be paid in full before any future bookings. 30 days past due will incur a 10% processing fee.
